East Tangat Gunboat is a curious dive site that features 40m/131ft long submarine hunter. The engine room offers a small swim-through full of colorful fish. Snorkeling is also possible around here, as the wreck starts at 3m/10ft depth. This dive site makes a great spot for photography.

When To Go Diving

The best months to go to East Tangat Gunboat are January through June, though it may be possible to dive here during other time, depending on the current. The water temperature ranges between 26-28C/85-92F, but the air temperature is often higher and reaches 27-30C/89-98F.

What to see

East Tangat Gunboat is popular among the divers who appreciate the variety of crustaceans, interesting bright nudibranches and smaller tropical fish. Anemones full of clownfish, angelfish, trumphetfish, parrotfish and frogfish are frequently seen at this site.
