All about Double D dive site

Double D is a wall and reef site named for two prominent coral mounds, giving the dive a clear natural landmark and a strong sense of shape. It has the classic Turks and Caicos mix of blue-water wall scenery, soft coral growth, and fish moving around current-fed structure.

What to see

Soft corals, black coral, mahogany snapper, schoolmaster snapper, French grunts, smooth trunkfish, reef fish, groupers, turtles, rays, and Caribbean reef sharks may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best from December to May, when seas are usually calmer and visibility is often strongest. Water is generally around 26–29°C, with visibility commonly around 30 metres or more in settled conditions.
