When To Go Diving

It is possible to dive at Raa Atoll throughout the year, except for June, when it gets too choppy. The dry season lasts from January to May, while the rainy season is from June to November. The average water temperature is 26-29°C (79-84°F), and the air is usually around 28-30°C (82-86°F).

What to see

Raa Atoll is a habitat for a variety of fish like Napoleon wrasses, stingrays, unicornfish, and fusiliers. Other species include shrimp, nudibranchs, gobies, basslets, butterflyfish, angelfish, and triggerfish. The bigger fish at this dive site are tuna, barracudas, snapper, and grouper
