Top-50 dive sites of the world

This is a high adrenaline drift dive through three deep canyons, that are situated at 24/78ft, 27/98ft and 30m/98ft. The canyons all have sheltering walls and sandy soils, and on all sides of the canyons, the slope decreases rapidly to 40m/131ft. At the end of the deepest canyon, divers can find an old 1.5m/4ft anchor (all that remains of the Spanish galleon) encrusted with corals, where the group of divers can gather before swept away to a safety stop. Having frequently strong currents, the site is more suitable for experienced divers, and nitrox is strongly recommended.

When To Go Diving

Diving is available all year long with water temperature fluctuating between 26C/78F and 29C/84F.

What to see

Large gorgonian fans, barrel sponges, whip corals and pink soft corals cover the entire area. Divers can find massive schools of sweetlips, snapper, emperors, clown triggerfish, lionfish, jacks, barracuda, tuna, trevally, etc. Also turtles, octopi, manti, hammerhead sharks and thresher sharks were spotted here, as well as sea snakes and an assortment of nudibranchs. Marine life is especially varied and abundant when the currents are stronger.
