Canyon suggests a rocky cut or steep-sided underwater route, common in Kaş and other Turkish Mediterranean areas. It has a dramatic, architectural character, especially where the reef drops into deeper blue water.
What to see
Canyon walls, groupers, wrasse, bream, barracuda, amberjack, moray eels, octopus, sponges, and nudibranchs may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to November, with July to September offering the warmest water. Visibility is often 20–30 metres, while deeper sections may feel cooler outside peak summer.
