Scuba diving in Cambaquiz


This site features a big slope with sandy channels on the eastern side and an impressive wall with a great overhang and several caves on the northeastern side. The slope and drop-off can be done as one dive. It is an ideal site for night diving. Sandy slope is densely covered with soft and hard corals.
When to go
It is possible to dive here all year-round. The best time to go is November through June. The average water temperature ranges from 25C/77F to 29C/84F.
What to see
Here divers can observe sea needles, ghost pipefish, helmut gurnard, pegasus, different kinds of crabs, shrimps, sea snails, pygmy squid and much more. Also divers can spot turtles and even baby sharks inside some caves.
