Scuba diving in Cala Sa Nau


Cala Sa Nau is located 13km/8mi from Portocolom on Majorca. This dive-site is a large, flooded stalactite cave about 80m/262ft long and 30m/98ft wide. The cave has a large opening on top. The entrance is roomy and easy to see. This site is great to practice cave diving and snorkeling. The interior of the cave is covered with corals and teeming with colorful underwater creatures. The site can be reached by boat. The average depth of the dive-site is 12m/39ft.
When to go
The best time for diving Cala Sa Nau is from May through October. The average air temperature in the summer is 25C/76F and 10C/50F in the winter. The average water temperature in the summer is around 26C/79F and 13C/55F in the winter. Water visibility stays around 10-40m/30-130ft on average.
