Cala Mitjana is a beautiful cove of sand, stone and rocks located near the village of Cala d’Or on Mallorca (Majorca). The site is suited to all experience levels, and diving is usually done from a boat. This dive site consists of a small cave, some boulders, stones and rocks, reefs and lots of fish, it is possible to see here barracuda swarms, conger eels, morays and octopuses. Cala Mitjana has a depth of 25m/82ft.
When To Go Diving
The best time for diving here is from May to October. Average air temperature is 25C/76F in summer and 10C/50F in winter. Water temperature averages around 26C/79F in summer and 13C/55F in winter. Water visibility is about 10-40m/30-130ft.
