Wreck
Brijuni, off Istria, combines natural reef diving with one of Croatia’s most historically layered island landscapes. Underwater, the area is more about northern Adriatic reefs, seagrass, and archaeological atmosphere than deep southern walls.
What to see
Seagrass, rocky reef fish, wrasse, bream, octopus, cuttlefish, sponges, sea stars, nudibranchs, and possible archaeological remains may be seen in designated areas.
When To Go Diving
June to September is the most comfortable period in Istria. Water is cooler outside summer, and visibility is best in calm conditions.
