All about Black Rock dive site

Black Rock is a Utila-area site with a rugged volcanic or dark-rock feel, giving the dive a stronger topographic character than a simple reef slope. It suits divers who enjoy walls, ledges, and clear Caribbean water around rock formations.

What to see

Divers may see hard and soft corals, sponges, grunts, groupers, pufferfish, trunkfish, moray eels, turtles, eagle rays, and reef fish around tongue-and-groove formations.

When To Go Diving

March to August is usually strong for visibility, though Utila diving is available year-round. Water is generally around 24–29°C.
