All about Bentota Point dive site
Bentota Point is a west-coast site with a coastal reef or point profile, likely shaped by sand, rock, and seasonal visibility. It has a relaxed resort-coast character when conditions are calm.

What to see
Reef fish, snappers, rays, moray eels, lionfish, nudibranchs, coral patches, sand-dwelling species, and small schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from November to April, when the west coast is usually diveable. Water is generally 27–30°C, with visibility affected by swell, river runoff, and weather.
