All about Barren dive site
Barren suggests a more remote Andaman island or exposed reef site, likely with rocky slopes, boulders, and clearer open-water conditions. It has a more expedition-style character than nearshore reefs.
What to see
Rocky reef, sea fans, soft corals, reef fish, jacks, barracuda, rays, moray eels, turtles, and occasional larger passing fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from November to April, with access and sea state checked carefully. Water is generally around 27–30°C, and visibility can be strong in settled conditions.
