Bajo de Fuera, in Cabo de Palos, is a submerged reef and wreck-rich area with strong fish life. It is one of the more serious Mediterranean dive environments in Spain.

What to see
Groupers, barracuda, amberjacks, dentex, wreck remains, gorgonians, moray eels, conger eels, and schooling fish may be seen.

Best from May to October, with local current and depth planning important. Water is generally 16–26°C.
