Angafaru is best treated as a reef or channel-edge site, likely shaped by current and open-water movement. It suits divers who enjoy Maldivian reef structure with the possibility of larger passing fish.
What to see
Reef fish, fusiliers, grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, jacks, snappers and coral-covered reef edges may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best visibility is usually from December to May. During the southwest monsoon, plankton may reduce visibility but can increase manta and whale shark activity in some atolls.
