All about Alligator Deep dive site
Alligator Deep is likely a deeper section of the Alligator Reef area, with clearer blue water, coral structure, and more space than the shallow reef top. It has a stronger open-water feel.
What to see
Coral ledges, sea fans, sponges, barracuda, snappers, groupers, reef fish, turtles, nurse sharks, and rays may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to October, with calm conditions preferred. Water is generally 20–30°C, with visibility often 10–30 metres.
