LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Hilo

In the waters around Hilo, diving can be enjoyed by divers of all experience levels. Richardson’s beach is considered a good dive spot for all divers, with medium visibility and interesting marine life to be observed and admired, since it is a rocky cove with nice corals and fish. At Puhi Bay in Hilo, divers can observe a lot of turtles of all sizes. Hilo's best shore dive site is Leleiwi, which consists of six lava arches, large coral heads and a good variety of hard corals. Here one can see turtles, dolphins and different, as well as whales when in season.
