Frederiksted

Next to what is quite possibly one of the top macro dive sites in the world, Frederiksted (St. Croix, west shore) offers diving for all experience levels. Divers may explore the remains of a pier as well as five wrecks, including the Suffolk Maid, the Virgin Islander and the North Wind. There is a variety of soft and hard corals along with purple, orange and red sponges hosting all kinds of marine life, including lobsters, arrow crabs, morays, octopuses and seahorses. Frogfish and batfish are also frequently seen in all sizes and colors.
