The Pinnacle of Bligh Waters is a marine protected area. During night dives, divers are likely to encounter lots of green flashlight fish, crustaceans, and large lobsters. This dive site has strong currents, and is suitable for experienced divers.

When To Go Diving

Scuba diving at the Pinnacle is great throughout the year. From October to March, the air temperature is 26-29C/79-84F. From April to September, the air is cooler and the water temperature is about 22-26C/72-79F.

What to see

The nutrient-rich waters attract a great variety of different marine species, large and small fish, and invertebrates. The orange, pink, yellow, green, and red corals look amazing. Divers can admire interesting reef inhabitants such as pipefish, scribbled filefish, and anthias.
