Similan Islands
Tachai Pinnacle is one of the Andaman Sea’s more exciting submerged pinnacle dives, with current, depth, and big-fish potential. It has a true liveaboard-style character and is best suited to confident divers.
What to see
Barracuda, trevally, jacks, reef fish, sea fans, soft corals, leopard sharks where present, manta rays and whale sharks in the wider region may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from November to April, with the strongest access and conditions during the Similan–Surin liveaboard season. Water is usually around 28–30°C, with visibility often 20–40 metres.
