Scuba diving in TA 36 wreck


TA 36 (ex- Stella Polare) sank north of the wharf at Brestova in 1944. The wreck lies at the depth of 45-65m/147-213ft. The front of the ship is approximately 150m/492ft from the rest of the wreck, although the main part lies almost intact.
When to go
The surface water temperature varies between 9C/48F in March and 26C/78F in July and August. The best time to go is from May to September.
What to see
The wreck is officially categorized as a war grave, and as such is under the protection of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia.
