Sri Lanka is a brand new destination for the Aggressor Fleet. The youngest member of the fleet, the Sri Lanka Aggressor offers stunning adventures near this island, including snorkeling with whales and dolphins.
Boat interior
The Sri Lanka Aggressor can comfortably accommodate 26 vacationers. There are cabins with one queen bed, and cabins with 2 twin beds that you can share with another diver. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning, private facilities, clothing storage area, bath robes, and a hair dryer. Some cabins have large windows where you can see the scenery. The boat has a spacious lounge area equipped with a TV, DVD player, and a small library. There is a shaded sun deck with lounge chairs on the upper deck of Sri Lanka Aggressor, where yacht guests can enjoy a gorgeous view of Sri Lanka.
Dive deck
The dive deck of the Sri Lanka Aggressor has storage facilities for your gear. There is a comfortable swimming platform and fresh-water showers. To maintain your equipment after dives, you can use separate rinsing tanks. There are also special facilities for photographers, including a camera table.
Safety
The experienced crew of the Sri Lanka Aggressor ensures the safety of passengers. All necessary safety equipment is on board, including life rafts, life jackets, fire and smoke detection systems, first-aid kits, and medical supplies. Whale and dolphin watching The Sri Lanka Aggressor can offer you a unique opportunity to see whales and dolphins.
There are about 18 kinds of whales that you can see at this destination, including blue whales, sperm whales, and humpback whales. Marine naturalist Howard Martenstyn will be on board to tell passengers about whale behavior. You can also see several kinds of dolphins here.
Itineraries
The Sri Lanka Aggressor has snorkeling and diving itineraries. Onboard this boat, you can observe more than 18 types of whales and dolphins. If conditions are good, it will be possible to snorkel with them as well. The Sri Lanka Aggressor liveaboard takes divers to West Colombo and Northwest Kalpitiya, where you can discover marvelous wrecks and reefs. The types of wrecks in Colombo vary from commercial barges to aircraft and oil tankers.
When to go
You can dive in Sri Lanka all year. The water temperature is about 27°C/81°F. Snorkeling with dolphins is available during the fall (September and October) and spring (February to April). The high season for diving in Colombo is from November to April.
