LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Taurito
Taurito is a resort located on the southwest coast of Gran Canary Island. Gran Canaria airport is located in 52 km from it. There is a 150m/492ft-long black volcanic sand beach, some hotels stacked up the sides of the rugged volcanic cliffs, and many other types of entertainment, including the Playa Taurito Lido waterpark. Nearby there are other interesting resorts like Playa Mogán, with its picturesque canals and bridges, and Puerto Rico. The waters around Taurito offer great diving opportunities for both novice and experienced divers. Here divers can explore amazing rock formations, wonderful canyons, and caves.
There are lots of dive spots, most of which are a 5 to 10min boat drive from Taurito. Among the best dive sites are Mogan Wrecks – Cermona II, Bluebird Wreck, Arguineguin Rif, Artificial Reef and a bit further - Reef Pasito Blanco ans El Pajar.
