When to go to Puerto de la Cruz

Diving in Puerto de la Cruz is available throughout the year, though the time from June to October may be preferable due to warmer water temperatures. The average air temperature in the summer is around 30C/86F and 21C /70F in the winter. Water temperature is around 24C/75F in the summer and 17C/63F in the winter. The usual depth of the local sites is around 40 m/131.2 ft with water visibility ranging between 10-30m/32-98ft. Currents are medium (1-2 knots).
