LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Amadores

Amadores is situated between Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogán, on the south-west coast of Gran Canaria in the Atlantic Ocean. Playa de Amadores has a magnificent blue flag beach, which is an 800m long, wide swathe of soft, golden sand which shelves gently into the calm, blue sea. Gran Canaria is a paradise for water sports' fans and, particularly, divers. Sea life is so prolific in this area that many experts put the diving on a par with the Red Sea or the Caribbean. Most popular dive sites The most interesting dive sites nearby are Mogan Wrecks – Cermona II, Bluebird Wreck, Arguineguin Rif, Artificial Reef. Also the nearest is Amadores Bay, that features a sandy beach and a breakwater, that was built to stop the sand from being washed into the sea. The site attracts lots of sea life like crabs, breams, sea cucumbers, lizard fish, octopus, cuttlefish and barracudas.
