LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Cala Figuera

Cala Figuera is a district in Santanyí on the southeast coast of Mallorca Island, around 60 km to the southeast of Palma. Palma de Mallorca Airport is located in 53 km. The traditional town was first mentioned in documentation in 1306, but the first houses were built in the area in the end of the 19th century. It is not a crowded destination, because Cala Figuera does not have tourist beaches, but there are lots of hotels nearby. There are some very scenic traditional buildings, as well as a number of millionaires' mansions overlooking the port of Cala Figuera. The main activity is fishing, and there are 111 berths for small boats. The waters near Cala Figuera have excellent visibility and a variety of marine life. Scuba divers will enjoy diving in the waters close to the town and the diving trips to stunning dive sites. The underwater world gives divers an opportunity to explore beautiful walls, reefs, caves, wrecks, and tunnels.
