Peniche

Peniche is located in Centro region and offers diving for divers of all levels of experience. The closest airport is in Lisbon that is located in 95 km from it. Peniche offers a big number of caves, wrecks and barrier reefs teeming with marine life. The most popular dive sites here are: the Berlengas archipelago; Cova do Sono or Hollow of sleep is a sheltered bay with many caves; The Primavera is an easy wreck dive for beginners and the Baixa Alagada or Flooded Reef is the very nice reef with a wreck, the Sapho.
