LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Horta

Horta is located in the western part of the Azores Archipelago encompassing the island of Faial. Horta Airport is located in 5 km from the city. Diving here is available for divers of all experience levels. Horta features vertical walls, beautiful canyons and lava flows full of moray eels, octopus, rays, large groupers, Mediterranean parrotfish, barracudas and pollocks.The most popular dive site is Baixa do Canal. This site has very interesting geological formations of volcanic origin. There is also a plenty of marine life to explore including barracudas, groupers, dogfish, eels and many other species.
