How to get to the Manila

Manila is the capital and second largest city of the Philippines. It is located on the eastern shores of Manila Bay, which rests on the western shores of Luzon. The city is divided into six legislative districts and consists of sixteen areas. Manila is a huge bustling Asian city with a large array of shops, malls, restaurants, clubs and bars. Some interesting dive sites in nearby destinations divers can find not far from Manila. One of them is Subic Bay, which is approximately a two and a half hour drive from Manila. Diving here offers a number of World War II wrecks that lie within close proximity to the bay. One of the most famous wrecks in Subic Bay is USS New York. The wreck lies in 27m/88ft of water and shelters a variety of marine life including schooling fish, lion fish, Jacks, barracuda and coral shrimp. The wreck is 120m/393ft long and ideal for penetration. The diving here is easy and available for divers of all levels of experience. Plenty of colorful corals and sponges are seen in all dive sites near this area. Subic Bay is well known for having lots of wrecks while Manila Channel is a suitable place to start novice training or for relaxing after experiencing a drift dive because the depth here is only 18m/59ft. There are also good drift and wall dive sites at a depth range of 35m/115ft near Puerto Galera.
