Macrohon is a fourth class municipality in the province of Southern Leyte, Philippines. The closest airport is in Ormoc, that is located in 150 km. Macrohon has a lot of natural attractions like waterfalls, caves and beaches. Macrohon is a good area for diving that is available here for divers of all levels. Most popular dive sites The best dive sites nearby include Max Climax Wall, Peter's Mound, Heaven's gate/Tangkaan Point. Max Climax Wall site is one of the local's favorite and features a wall covered with many cracks and crevices and teeming with life. Diving here can be done from shore and is best suitable for experienced divers. Another great dive site is Heaven's gate. It features a steep slope with sponges, soft corals and anemones as well as a fantastic coral garden with lots of fish.
