LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Anda
Anda is a fifth class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. The closest airport is in Tagbilaran that is located in 110 km. It has a long stretch of white beaches that have only recently started to be developed for tourists. Dive sites around Anda offer a fantastic variety of diving for novice as well as more advanced scuba divers on a beautiful 14km reef. All the dives give divers a chance to discover impressive variety of underwater creatures hiding among 800 varieties of hard and soft coral. 2500 varieties of coastal fish, of which certain are very rare, are registered in these waters. In Anda divers can dive at 4 different levels, starting at the deeper plateau before hitting a wall, then reef crest and finishing on the shallower reef flat for the surface interval. Following the crest there’s a wall that drops off between 25m/82ft and 30m/98ft covered with soft and black corals.
The best dive sites in Anda are Paradise Garden, Snappers Cave, Dap Dap, and the sites like Lumayac, Wonder Wall, Virgen East House Reef, Neptune House, Titanic Rocks are interesting also. Lumayac is a dive site with a beautiful vertical wall which drops off from 4m/13ft to 30m/98ft. The wall is covered in muricella gorgonian which are particularly popular with the pygmy seahorse.
