LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Querétaro

Querétaro is located in North-Central Mexico, in a region known as Bajío. It is one of 31 states with the Federal District, with the capital of Santiago de Querétaro. All major dive sites are located within some distance of Querétaro, with the nearest place in Ciudad Fernandez. Media Luna dive site is a real treat for divers of all levels of experience. The average depth of this site is 15m/49ft with the maximum depth of about 36m/118ft. Fresh waters of Media Luna stay at around 27C/82F throughout the year. Further north-east, near Tamaulipas, wich is in about 600km/372miles, there is El Nacimiento Del Mante dive site recommended for experienced divers. With maximum depth of about 30m/98ft and visibility ranging between 10-30m/32-98ft, this is an ideal place for cave diving. Besides great caves, divers will get a chance to spot angelfish, groupers, barracudas, crabs, turtles and sting rays. On the west side, at approximately the same distance, there is a very good diving area around Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta. Immediately off Puerto Vallarta there lie Islas Marias, which offer a unique scuba diving experience.
