Flic en Flac is a seaside village on the Western part of the Mauritius. Its white sandy beach is one of the longest and nicest on the island. Its lagoon is protected from storms by the surrounding coral reefs. Flic en Flac is a wonderful holiday destination for all diving enthusiasts. Undersea caves, tunnels, archways, as well as shipwrecks and a rich diversity of marine life, in particular nightlife of lobsters, are just some of the highlights. At Flic en Flac there are more than forty different dive sites. Two of the best dive sites include the impressive Cathedral (22m) and the snake-shaped Rempart Serpent reef (25m). Both are inhabited by an incredible diversity of sea life: giant lobster, barracuda, butterfly fish, gray reef and tiger sharks as well as fish-lions, dolphins and turtles. Some interesting shipwrecks on the depth of 20-40m, including the Kei Sei 113 (35m) and Tug11 (20m), and underwater caves are worth seeing.
