Malpique, in La Palma, is a Canary Islands site known for volcanic seabed and clear Atlantic water. It has a strong black-lava character.
What to see
Volcanic rock, garden eels where present, rays, wrasse, bream, moray eels, octopus, barracuda, and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to October, with year-round diving possible. Water is generally around 19–24°C.
