LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Eriyadu

RECOMMENDED AIRPORT
Eriyadu is a small ovel shaped island (measures 300m in length and 100m in width), located in the remote northern corner of North Male Atoll. The island is surrounded by white sandy beaches, uncrowded crystal water lagoon. For two reasons diving and snorkelling on the island is great. Firstly, there is a beautiful Eriyadu house reef with magnificent visibility that surrounds the entire island; the reef is accessible via 5 entry points with the majority of the reef formed into a gentle slope falling to 30m/98ft. Secondly, diving is excellent as more than 40 different dive sites of the North as well as the South Male atoll are easily accessible from here, including Finger Point (famous shark dive), Boduhiti Thila (famous for mantas and whalesharks during north east monsoon), Makunudu Faru and others. There are sites for every level of experience; night dives are also excellent. Currents are low here.
