When to go to Dhiffushi
Climate is tropical in Maldives. Average air and water temperatures stay approximately the same during the whole year — 28-31C/82-87F. There are two seasons — one is hot and humid, which starts on November and another one is rainy and humid, which starts in August. Diving in Dhiffushi is preferable from January to April, as visibility is the best in this time — up to 30m/98ft. The worst visibility is from October to December, due to a lot of plankton in the water. Currents may be strong from place to place and reach up to 2 knots.
What to see
The marine life in Dhiffushi strikes with its diversity. Divers can encounter groupers, snappers, angelfish, butterfly fish, crabs, nudibranchs and yelowtail fish. There is also a ig chance to meet mantas or sharks.
