LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Kapalai

Kapalai is the third point of the famous Golden Triangle, with Sipadan and Mabul being the other two. Kapalai is all about snorkeling and diving, it is one of the premier macro dive spots in the world. Strange hidden creatures, beautiful coral reefs, swirling schools of fish, and wrecks can be seen under the sea. Kapalai is very popular with underwater photographers as it presents them with a wide variety of marine life. Most popular dive sites The sites surrounding Kapalai are all extremely close to the island and typically have sandy bottoms, so visibility will be reduced unless conditions are very calm. There are over 20 dive sites in the area. Some of the most popular sites are House Reef/Jetty, Mid Reef, Mandarin Valley, Gurnard Point and Frontier Reef. The Jetty was named the 5th best dive site in the world, this dive site offers a good mix of large pelagic and small tropical fish. Mandarin Valley site is known among divers as a macro paradise.
