All about Laem Thian dive site
Laem Thian, on Koh Tao’s east coast, has boulders, reef slopes, and a quieter coastal feel. It offers a good mix of structure and fish life, especially when conditions are calm on the eastern side.
What to see
Boulder formations, reef fish, parrotfish, wrasse, butterflyfish, moray eels, blue-spotted rays, nudibranchs, and hard corals may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best during calmer Gulf conditions, often January to September. Water is generally around 27–30°C, with visibility depending on wind and swell.
