How to get to the Ustica
Ustica is a city on the southern coast of the Ustica island. The closest airport is in Palermo from there you got to get to island by boat.
Coming here divers will have an exciting experience diving in a seabed full of barracudas, breams, groupers, octopus, tuna, scorpion fish, amberjacks, dentex, white bream, crayfish and parrotfish. Popular dive sites nearby include Omo Morto, Grotta Azzurra, Approdo, Grotta della Pastizza, Toto’ Cave and Punta Falconiera. Cape Falconiera is an ideal dive for those who enjoy observing the smaller creatures, like the cylinder anemone, different species of sea slugs and the uncommon umbraculum mediterraneum. Steep walls, reaching down to depths of 35 to 40m/115-130ft, are home to large scorpion fish, moray eels and lobsters. There is also a roomy cave at the depth of 18m (59 ft) with a sandy bed that houses numerous shrimp, rocklings and conger eels.
