Waleabahi Island

Waleabahi is the easternmost of the Togian Islands, which are situated in the Gulf of Tomini. It is a popular destination with divers due to the variety of diving opportunities and good conditions. Walea is a marine park. Dives in this area are characterized by pretty anemones, corals, and abundant marine life, including damselfish, octopi, crabs, schools of bigeye jacks, lobsters, shrimp, starfish, cardinalfish, surgeonfish, triggerfish, rainbow runners, snappers, grouper, grey reef sharks, bumphead parrotfish, Napoleon wrasses, spotted eagle rays, and the spectacular Spanish dancer. The dive sites at Waleabahi are good for all levels of experience. Some of the most popular dive sites are Sahida, Talawega, House Reef, and Gegolan.
