Pujut Lombok Tengah is located in the southern part of Lombok. Bandar Udara Internasional Lombok Airport is located there. Around Kuta there is about a dozen of diving spots that are considered the most preserved in Lombok and especially interesting for their healthy soft corals and reef fish. At present, there are about 25 dive locations that cater to both novice and expert divers. Sites vary from shallow coral reefs and slopes, to impressive underwater rock formations, to caves and swim-throughs, to various sized islands and open ocean pinnacles. The 4 main dive areas are Kuta Bay, Gerupuk Bay, Tampah and Belongas Bay, each area having its own unique qualities. In and around Kuta Bay divers are offered several nice dive sites.
The Cathedral, The Magnet, Coral Gardens/Small Coral Gardens, Blue Hole are the most popular dives.
