LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Satonda Island

RECOMMENDED AIRPORT
Satonda is a small volcanic island located by the Flores Sea on the North of Sumbawa diving region, in Indonesia. The place is famous for the fruit bats, though their flights remind of scary movies. These creatures are more cute, than dangerous and worth examining. Satonda Island destination is good for drift diving and snorkeling. The average diving depth is 5-25m/16-82ft. Most dive areas are good for beginners and intermediate divers and are represented by sandy bays with coral reefs, like a well-known small bay for night dives and Bali liveaboard stop-over on the way to Komodo with an opportunity for muck diving and macro photography; the shallow reef Tanjung Bautputih (North of Sumbawa Island) of 20m/66ft with a drop-off to 40m/131ft.
