Bulukumba

Bulukumba is located in South Sulawesi. It is a popular diving destination with a variety of dive sites for all levels. There are a number of impressive dive spots around Bira Beach in Bulukumba, but the currents can be strong and unpredictable. Diving here is also famous for lots of whitetip and black tip sharks, which accompany divers around. The dive sites consist of amazing walls and reefs with a diverse marine life, including eagle rays, barracudas, marble rays, turtles, frogfish, orangutan crabs, garden eels, nudibranches, grouper, and big Napoleon wrasses, as well as beautiful corals and an abundance of reef fish. Some of the popular diving sites in the area are Shark Point, Eagle’s Rock, Mola Mola Point, the Cave, Coral Gardens, Fish Market, Stingray Bay, and Turtle Point.
