When to go to Taba
Diving here is available year-round, although there is some variation in water temperature. The hottest season is from July through August, when water temperature is about 29C/84F. The coldest season is January through February, with water temperature at about 19C/66F.
What to see
Here one can encounter such species as dolphins, turtles, frogfish, seahorses, lionfish, nudibranchs, puffer fish, barracudas, eagle rays, batfish, tigerfish, anthias, etc.

Taba is a small town located near the northern tip of the Gulf of Aqaba in close proximity to the Israeli-Egyptian border. Taba International Airport is located here. The underwater landscape of Taba is very genuine and untouched; the coastal waters around Taba are a Marine Reserve and marine life is abundant. There are a lot of dive sites appropriate for novice divers, as well as interesting sites for experienced divers. The best dive sites are: The Aquarium, Maxwell's Reef, Marsa El Muqabila and Angel Net.
