LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Juan Dolio

RECOMMENDED AIRPORT
Juan Dolio has a variety of exciting dive sites that attract both novice and experienced divers. The underwater landscape here is embellished by interesting soft and hard coral formations, deep channels, swim-throughs, ravines and wrecks. The depth range of the dive sites is 33-82ft/10-25m here. They are full of marine life in the form of crabs, lobsters, stingrays, green moray eels, barracudas, leatherjackets and lots of glassfish. There are a lot of gorgonians, purple sea fans and black corals as well. The most famous spots for diving include Alto Velto, with a sunken tugboat covered in sponges and corals, the 195ft/65m-long Tanya V Wreck, and The Limon, with a well-preserved shipwreck with three large propellers. Another incredible site for people who love wreck diving is the Hickory, at a depth 60ft/18m, surrounded by a beautiful coral reef teeming with colorful fish. This ship is leaning to starboard and attracts the more adventurous divers.
