When To Go Diving

Diving is possible all year round, but the warmest period is from May to November, when daily air temperature varies between 20-32C/68-89F and water temperature between 18-26C/64-78F.

What to see

It is recommended to dive here in the early afternoon when rays of sunlight streak through every crack and fissure of the rock. In these waters divers can see breams, salema, jelly fish, octopus, cuttle fish, nudibranchs, wrasse, cardinal fish, groupers, moray eels, flying gurnards and, occasionally, a family of parrot fish and stingrays. Large areas of Ghar Lapsi Cave are covered in sea grass so nudibranchs and sea hares can be spotted here as well.
