Patato (or Batato) is a fine dive site with the average depth ranging from 5m/16 ft to 14m/46ft, making this location great for both experienced and novice divers. The highlight of this site is a collection of great coral reef passages, caverns and tunnels divers can explore on one dive. A wide variety of colorful tropical fish as well as lobsters, crayfish and barracudas make this site attractive for underwater photographers. Sometimes, divers may get a rare chance of meeting some manatees. At certain points of the day, when the weather is nice, divers can catch a moment when sunshine penetrates the water and sun beams illuminate the inside of the caves giving them a truly magical look.
