All about Cross wreck dive site
The Cross Wreck, is an amazing WWII-era Japanese patrol boat, that was named for the large cross found on land opposite the wreck. The wreck is sitting upright on the sandy bed at 18m/59ft and divers can explore the ship's lamps and its rack of depth charges that are still intact. Penetration is possible near the engine room, communications room and front hold where divers can observe the switchboard and ammunition. At the end of this site there is another site Critters Corner with a vast array of sea life.

What to see
Marine species occupying these waters include huge Napoleon wrasse, lionfish, humphead parrotfish and numerous tropical fish, as well as beautiful coral growth.
When to go diving in Cross wreck
The best conditions for diving this site are between October and April. Water temperature varies from 28C/82F to 30C/86F throughout the year.
