When to go to Vodice

Vodice has a Mediterranean climate. The rainy season is from October till January. The best time to go is the period from May through September. The average air temperature: 7-26C / 44-78F. The water temperature ranges from 12C/53F in the winter to 25/ 77F in the summer. The visibility: from 20m/65ft to 30m/98ft. Sometimes there are no current, but usually - low. What to see There is a colorful and vibrant underwater world with a great variety of fish including red scorpion fish, congers, squids, crabs, algae, sponges, octopus, eels, sea urchins, starfish and other species. Also divers can explore some steep walls overgrown with red fan corals.

Vodice is a town in the Šibenik-Knin County, that borders the Adriatic Sea. The closest international airport is Split Airport that is located in 70 km from it. Divers can experience here clean Adriatic sea, sea-polished rocky walls, shallow canyons, caves and numerous shipwrecks. All diving can be done on nearby sites around Prvic Island, in the area of Murter Sea and Kornati National Park (the absolute diving paradise). There are lots of dive sites in this area suitable for different divers level.
