LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Tar

RECOMMENDED AIRPORT
Tar is a small town situated on the west side of Istria. There are many reefs interesting for scuba-diving. Among them are Lanterna, Busula, Pal Pical, Labirint, Karbula, Splendid and Pal sv. Nikola. The Labirint reef is located in the Peškera Bay, at the depth of 6 to 9m/20-30ft. Huge rocks rise from a depth of up to 3m/10ft, connected one with the other they make channels which are suitable for diving. These channels create an impression of moving through a labyrinth. Inside these sandy channels live large families of sea-urchins, sea stars, pen shells and seashells as well as sea-bream and common dentex. The holes in the rocks are home to a number of crabs and sea eels. The nearby sheepwrecks are Coriolanus 28m/91ft, Romagna 40m/130ft and Numidia. Numidia is one of the largest wrecks in the Adriatic Sea, located at the depth of 33-40m/108-130ft, much experience is needed when planning this dive.
