Stobrec

Stobrec is situated some 6 km south of Split, at a beautiful peninsula, surrounded with the sea and pine woods. There are a lot of dive sites in the nearby area around the Island of Šolta (Piramide, Maria Grota, wreck Meja) and the southern side of the Island of Čiovo. While diving, there is an opportunity to enjoy the colorful walls overgrown with all kinds of corals, sponges, gorgonian (yellow and very rare red gorgonian), caves, wrecks and rich flora and fauna of the clean waters of the Adriatic Sea. As for the bigger fish shark, dogfish, grouper, conger eel, stone bass as well as lobster, octopus and all kinds of mollusk can be found.
